Pre-Weekend Update and Pictures

So, now, all of my finals are done! I had one this morning at 7:30 and 11:30. So I thought I would put up some pictures that I have taken on my phone! My roommates and I have had some amazing adventures! We hang out just about every day, and we talk every night and stuff. Its nice to have such good friends that i can be silly with and laugh with.
This first picture is Taylor, my cute roommate. I left my phone home on accident during class, and this is what I found as my phones' wallpaper when i returned. Thank you Taylor! :)
As you can see, we get pretty bored up in Logan. Not in a bad way, we just find really random things to do to keep us entertianed. One night, everyone decided that we should put tape all over MY face. These are the results: I look like a mummy kindof
So, my roommate Nicole drew this next picture! she is seriously amazing! she is SO good at drawing! Dang! She designed this herself!

Because we are so awesome, we all participated in this challange that was given to all the students that live on campus called the Healthy Living Challange. And all month long, when a new week started, we would have to do certian challange, like; eat breakfast every day, (for some of us that dont wake up until 11 every day, thats a pretty hard challange) drink 64 ounces of water a day, or excercise every day. So on this night, as part of our floor winning this challange, we got catered food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all of finals week! And this night we got ready and got to go have a fancy dinner inside this banquet hall! It was so awesome! I ate two WHOLE steaks. It's true. So I was getting ready, and so was Taylor. That is her standing like a creeper behind me with her turtleneck covering her face!

This is a prime example of what we do with our time. (when we are not studying...) I was quietly coloring in my Jumbo Size My Little Pony Coloring Book, when Nicole started drawing on my leg with marker. No more than ten minutes went by, and i looked over to see what she had drawn. And this, my friends is her body artwork! :)

This is a picture of Taylor giving her friend Josh a piggy back ride! Actually, Taylors sister sent her a text that said if she didnt put someone on her back and jump up and down two and a half times, then she would pee her pants in her bed while she was sleeping. So, of course, none of us wanted to pee our pants while we slept. We all did it.

This was taken on Thanksgiving Day, right before we all sat down to eat. Frankie just ate, and he was getting sleepy, so I took him in my room to try and rock him to sleep. I sang him the song that my grandma used to sing to me when I was little. It really made me miss her, and it made me sad that she couldn't be here on Thanksgiving with us. She really was such a good person and a great example to me, even after she couldn't remember who I was....It also made me glad that Frankie will be able to know about her, because I will tell him about her and how great of a grandma she was! Needless to say, he fell asleep in my arms, and it made me so happy. I love him so much, he is one of the few things that can totally calm me down and cheer me up, and remind me how amazing my life is.

So, on Thanksgiving Day, Julie took me to a sporting goods store with her and Adam and Grandpa! She bought me a Hula Hoop and I LOVE IT!! :) We also went to Big Lots (and I am IN Love with that store!!!) and I bought some christmas lights! This is what you see when you look at my dorm. I <3 It! :)

Nicole, our friend Jeri, and I dressed up as super heroes! And I was the Utah Mom Superhero! And they were my children....

And last but not least, this is my new car! haha! :) I wish!

I was told I should update my blog more, sorry if this blog was cheesy, but i like taking silly pictures a lot! :) I cant believe its been a whole dang semester! and I passed!! :)

Beginning of the Weekend Update About Life

let virtue garnish thy thoughts...

This weekend was really good. im so glad i was able to take time off and come home and see my family. On saturday night, ali and i went and ate sushi (yes, still my favorite, even though i am employed at a sushi restruant) and we got my favorite rolls and miso and this really good house salad they have. I got to see baby a TON which is nice. I really look up to ali and zach, and it was so awesome to hear zach bless baby. When he got up to bless the baby, I was holding him, and zach forgot to take him up and i had to walk him up haha! and in the blessing zach said that his defining quality would be kindness. That is one thing i will never forget, he already is the sweetest little baby of all. Also, my grandpa tate got up and bore his testimony, which NEVER happens. It blew me away. He talked about how much he loves my grandma and how greatful he is for her. I never thought i would ever see him get so emotional.

All in all, things are going well. We have about six weeks of school left and its crazy how fast it flew by.

i really like logan. minus the cold.

so as i was walking to class today, i caught a glimpse of this. and liked it! :) Its fall here, and i LOVE it! im super excited for Halloween!
This is the dinner I ate last night that Bong and Park made for me! its called " the Black Nooooodle" and they tried to tell us that it would make our tongues and mouths black if we ate it. and of course i totally believed them those little tricksters. It was super spicy, but amazing. Cant have a crazy Korean dinner without no miso!

I saw these fish at walmart yesterday! Bubblegum Fish! i wanted one real bad!

i love logan, as much as i complain about the cold weather, and being away from friends and family, i do love it. I love working at the sushi restruant and i love my roommates, even though they run into my room with paint all over themselves while im on the phone with kiel :) i love it!

Fall Break Weekend (St. George Family Reunion Trip)

So, while we were in St. George, I saw a sign that said "Potbelly Pigs For Sale" so i Pretty much MADE my mom pull over so that we could look at them! they were even cuter in person! But I really wanna buy a little piglet when i move back to Salt Lake.... :) Then, Marsh and I were trying to find our way to where the Garfields were staying, and we could not FOR THE LIFE OF EITHER OF US find the way... we tried for a good hour. Seriously. We were so mad! But then we saw a Pet Store Sign and we HAD to go see what they had! Here is a freaking huge lizard that was there!
Here is a picture of Marsh standing by a lizard that is taller than him!! He even said that he was a little bit freaked out standing that close to the glass lol What a cutie!

So, after the trauma (for us both) of not being able to find where the Garfields were staying, we picked up mom and she bought us some lunch. Marsh was really crabby because 1. he had been stuck in the car for the past like two hours, and 2. because we were both hungry and way crabby lol. so we went to this little drive up fast food place and got some onion rings and drinks. Marsh was bummed, and we were trying to get him to eat some food and he was like "ew, no! i frickin hate onion rings!!!" for those of your who know marshall, he "frickin" LOVES onion rings! lol so i found a baby onion ring that had a funny shaped hole in the middle and i made marshall laugh by saying it was mr. onion ring or something like that and so then he poked some holes in the onion ring for eyes, and he cheered up after that. He really is such a sweetheart and I love him so much. Even when we get crabby.

This sign made me laugh so hard! i was going to send it to mitchell because i know he would see the humor! all the garfield and marshall were laughing at the "diarrhea" reference

This is a sign that i found inside my school next to the Womens Restroom sign. There is a really nice, private place to nurse your baby in there, because if your not in the privacy of your own home, the school doesnt want you whipping your boobie out to feed your kid. thank you.

And last but not least, here is the sweetest little baby you will ever see! He was napping like this and if he ever got startled, he would lift his hands up like "what the crap?!!?!? can you not tell that im frickin trying to sleep? gosh!" so dang cute!

This is probably the cutest baby thumb in all existance.

All in all, this weekend was a success! the renuion was really fun! everyone brought their kids, and i made some new friends! :)

St. George Fun (and pictures of my new nephew!!)

yellowcard...

So, i started working at a sushi restraunt, and guess who showed up after they got done playing a show up at utah state? thats right, yellowcard!

lazy sunday, wake up in the late afternoon......

So today might have been one of the most lazy sundays i have ever experienced (minus the three or so hours that i studied for my MIS exam tomorrow) I can count the number of times I got out of my bed today on one hand haha! it snowed today, on and off in little flurries all day.... and our heater is sort of broken, i mean we have heat, it just only gets to a certian temperature and then it turns off. So far, today, we watched two cartoon movies (Ratatouille and Anistasia...) Ratatouille is one of the cutest movies i have seen in a while. Interesting quote that caught my attention:

"Ahh, but that is no match for wishful thinking! If you're focused on what you've left behind, you will not be able to see what lies ahead...."

something i think i was meant to hear.

In other news, i painted my nails, checked my email, and read almost all the chapters on the exam tomorrow. :)

I have also recently gotten myself addicted to facebook. not the business when you should be doing homework instead of chatting with friends haha.

i am in love with paramore...

Ok, not that im a lesbian or anything, but the girl from paramore is dang cute! and she can seriously have like any color hair, and still look sexy! most girls couldnt pull it off, but dang. And she has a cute little voice. Ok, sorry, but thats just how i feeel right now.

I just watched Survivor, and made my roomates watch it too. haha i love that show, i think everyone knows that i love that show, because i try to make everyone watch it with me! So, i need to confess that i havent showered for a total of 5 days. I know. Im disgusting. BUTTT, its kindof nice, not needing to shower. I know everyone will probably think im gross now. but I dont really care. Its not like my face is dirty, or you could even tell that i havent showered, and my roomate nicole did my hair in braids for me, so you really really cant tell.

I really really really wish i had money so that i could go see some of the new movies that are coming out! There are like a ton that have come out that i seriously wanna see. I love school. Holy cow its so much fun! As much as I miss home and family and friends and kiel, I really am having experiences that I couldnt have at home, or even in salt lake.... Unless i went to the U i guess. But then i never would have met my roomates, who are some of the cutest most amazing girls i have ever met. They accept me for me, even when i dont shower for 5 days. They dont put me down, or make me feel sad. We try to eat together when we can, and we are always hanging out in eachothers rooms.

The Justin Nozuka concert was tonight in Murray and I didnt go, and really wanted to. But hopefully Justin Nozuka will come again. I really like his style of music, if I wrote music and was a performer, that is the kind of music i would want to play. Even though i cant play the piano or play the guitar AT ALL. This blog entry is a sad attempt to do something other than homework, so its all over the place.... Paramore will always remind me of when I lived in an apartment with Heidi (for a few months) and Aryn, Brynn, Christina, and Alexis. I had some really amazing experiences and some experiences that i cant believe that it was me doing that stuff..... But overall, I made my own choices, and I learned a WHOLE lot, and i came out of those experiences knowing a lot more about myself. I LOVE those girls that i lived with. They are great!

I am seriously so blessed to. This is a personal list (for me) of the things im blessed with:
-I am healthy and I dont have any disablities (except for being able to spell haha)
-I live in a country where I get to choose what to do with my life
-I have two parents that love me so much (along with amazing siblings that are all huge examples and people i look up to for strength and guidance)
-I have three amazing girls that i live with that are so sweet and are my friends
-My bishop up here is soooooo great! So understanding and willing to listen and help me
-I have a knowledge of the gospel and a testimony
-I never feel like I have gone too far away from the Lord, there is always a way back, no matter how many times i sin or fall down. That might be the most powerful thing that I know.
-I have the ability to make myself happy by choosing the right. I can also be a good example through my actions. (not that i am a great example all the time... my roommates are going to have a swear jar, where when you swear, you have to put money in the jar.... haha i already owe like five dollars, but still, that is something i can work on, and improve on)
-I have a really tender heart, so its really easy for me to relate to people, which helps make it easier to serve others. (I used to hate the fact that i was so sensitive, but honestly, I need it. It helps me relate to other people, and helps me be kind to and want to serve other people)
well thats all for now haha. this blog is mostly for me.... so dont feel like you need to read it.... :) i love you all !!!

Ok, now its seriously time for me to do homework!

conference weekend

so conference is always super inspiring. I know that by choosing to pray and read my scriptures, I will get more of the spirit in my life. Im not really sure exactly why im up here at utah state (well, hopefully i come home with a year of my degree done of course), but hopefully by following the promptings of the spirit, i will be able to know why im here, hopefully, i will be able to serve and help and lift other people, and not focus on myself as much.....

In other news, I got my hair lightenend. It looks alright. I just wish it could be blonde all the way already, or better yet, back to black.... I really miss my long black hair. I just felt really comfortable in it.

I tried to do like 5 pushups this weekend and almost suceeded. Now im more sore than i have ever been in like the past year. Wow. I am really out of shape. I really wanted to go longbarding this weekend (in this sweet black amazing 80's jumpsuit i bought, I might even post pictures because of the awesomeness of it) but unfortunately, it freaking rained. a LOT. So i watched like five movies instead. Including The Fugitive. Love Harrison Ford. Now im hanging out with my cute roommates watching 10 things i hate about you.

Oh, p.s. i got a job at a really fun job at this sushi place in logan as a waitress. if you ever come to logan, you had better call me and come to visit me.

i really like my life. :)

its 1:25 am and im not tired at all.... maybe its the 32 oz. coke that i just downed.... Im watching this really cool show on Kbyu about dolphins. Fricking Love Dolphins!!!

earlier tonight i watched the first 2 hour premire of the show Surviror. That show will seriously never get old, even though the same crap always happens.

Also, I am certian that I am supposed to be in Logan right now. It truely was inspired for me to come here. I really feel like i fit in and I LOVE my ward. My bishop might be the greatest smartest man I have ever met. I know that this is where I am supposed to be right now. I am so happy with everything going on. School is great and its not super hard. (yet) i might be saying something completely opposite of this when finals hit me, but right now, i LOVE school. My professors are so smart and helpful.

My plan (because im sure you are DYING to hear about it... :) is to save up enough money (from the job that i dont have yet :) im trying to get a job at a resteraunt up here) in the next 8 months and be able to move straight to Salt Lake from Logan, and transfer straight to the U. Its not that I dont want to see my family or spend time at my parents house, I just dont want to be a burden on anyone, and I also want to be on my own. I feel like im ready for that .

I have been through quite a lot in the last two years, and I have changed so much. Im really truely happy right now. Life is just going well for me. I love the church, and I know that that is the main reason that i am so happy. Love it!
